I was born and raised in Toronto and reside here today. After my post-secondary education, I began my journey into the construction industry doing everything from hands on work to project management.
I have owned and operated my own contracting business for 20 years doing commercial and residential projects. This professional experience and knowledge became a natural stepping stone towards the home inspection industry.
I have completed the home inspection certificate course at Humber College and a 50 hour mentoring course which is a very comprehensive program designed to prepare all home inspectors for the challenges they will encounter in the field.
I am active in the community with my wife and two children and between the soccer field and ski hills, I find time to enjoy a good book.
I’m originally from Yorkshire, England. After graduating from high school in 1980 I completed a five year apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
After working in England for nine years I moved to Canada in 1989 where I have worked in positions within the engineering field.
For the past fifteen years, I have worked as a certified quality technician that has involved inspection of components and problem solving mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
I was introduced to the home inspection profession through Humber College in Toronto where I completed the three and a half year course with honours, as well as an in-depth mentoring course.
On a personal level, I’m active in sports and in my community in South Simcoe County. I’m married with three children, and have an energetic golden retriever.
